16th Annual "Paws for a Cause" 3K Walk

Weber's Pet Supermarket, Fairfax, VA
At noon Sunday, October 2, 2011, the Fairfax Pets on Wheels will hold its 16th annual “Paws for a Cause” 3K Walk in Fairfax, Virginia. The doggone fun begins at Weber’s Pet Supermarket, 11021 Lee Highway, Fairfax. Proceeds from the walk will go toward recruitment and training, volunteer activities, and insurance. All pre-registered participants will receive a “Paws for a Cause” t-shirt. There will be human and canine treats at each kilometer and sponsored walkers are encouraged.Registration is $20 prior to September 15th and $25 thereafter. The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to presenta seminar for the nonprofit organizations of Northern Virginia entitled “Win Buy-In: Getting Businesses Intrigued in your Nonprofit in 60 Seconds” featuring international speaker Sam Horn, the Intrigue Expert, author of “Win Buy-In” and “POP”. This seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 3:30pm to 5pm at the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors - Herndon Service Center, 520 Huntmar Park Drive, Herndon, VA 20170.
