Your volunteers are an integral part of your organization and work hard to help you fulfill your mission. Recognize a special volunteer by nominating him or her for a 2012 Fairfax County Volunteer Service Award. 

Overall, there are 13 categories. Individuals can only be nominated for ONE Competitive Award. However, an individual CAN be nominated for a Competitive Award AND a Benchmark Award. Please be sure to check the appropriate box(es) in the application if you are nominating your volunteer for a Competitive Award, Benchmark Award, or BOTH. For eligibilty guidelines, click here.

Established in 1993, the Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards serve as a community-wide celebration of volunteerism. The Awards honor individuals, groups and organizations that have given outstanding volunteer service through a broad range of activities and programs. Over the last 19 years, Volunteer Fairfax has recognized more than 2,500 individuals for their commitment to the community.
