Heard it on the Radio

Volunteer Fairfax’s radio show for the month of July focused on how to volunteer during the summer months as a family. Emily House, Camp Director of Lose the Training Wheels Summer Bike Camp, and Volunteers for Change member Stacey Brahmey talked with Samantha Watson of Volunteer Fairfax about ways to get involved volunteering as a family in the summer. VolunteerFest® - Register September 24th

Make the most of your Saturday…Volunteer! VolunteerFest® is a Community-Wide Day of Service held in conjunction with National Make a Difference Day. This year VolunteerFest® will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Individuals, corporations and groups can begin registering for projects on September 22nd. Opportunities range from the beautification of school grounds and parks, helping to prepare food for the homeless, working with the elderly and much more!

"A Celebration of Giving and Sharing"

"A Celebration of Giving and Sharing" is growing, and we need you to be a part of this great program to make a difference in the lives of Fairfax County's children. In 2008, this wonderful program will once again provide backpacks filled with books and toys to elementary school students at our partner schools.
