the SI Volunteer Day
On Saturday, June 16, the SI employees, friends and family members participated in the Second Annual Volunteer Day. For the Chantilly office, Volunteer Fairfax helped coordinate this day of service by providing project development, project management, evaluation, and consultation services. The volunteer center directly managed two projects sites.
2012 Accomplishments
- Removed invasive plants, cleaned out log jams and removed trash from a stream bed.
- Painted the hallways and offices of a Head Start school that serves over 200 children.
