Girl Scout Badge Program

Generation: Volunteer
A to Z on Serving your Community

Are you a Girl Scout interested in learning the basics of volunteerism?

Volunteer Fairfax offers a Girl Scout Patch Program that teaches the value of giving back to your community. The benefits of this program include:

  • A workshop lead by trained Volunteer Fairfax staff that focuses on the importance of volunteerism, the history of service, the impact it has on the community and the process of setting up a volunteer project. Workshop will also benefit Girl Scouts in the pursuit of the Bronze Award.
  • Participation in a project that benefits a local nonprofit organization. They will learn about the organization's mission as well as the impact of their service.
  • A Volunteer Fairfax patch to be worn as a proud symbol of the Girl Scouts' care for the community.

For more information regarding the Girl Scout Patch Program, please contact Christine Coffey, Special Events Coordinator, at 703-246-3825.
