RSVP: Tapping into a Lifetime of Experience

The aging population in Northern Virginia is revealing a wealth of potential for older volunteers to make in impact in our community.  The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is America’s largest volunteer network for people age 55 and better. In Northern Virginia, RSVP volunteers are making an impact by growing the capacity of public and nonprofit agencies in and around Fairfax County, Arlington County, and the City of Alexandria.

Many agencies rely on the flexibility and dedication of RSVP volunteers to meet their direct service, clerical, and capacity building needs. RSVP-Northern Virginia supports volunteer stations by recruiting and matching older volunteers to meet the particular needs of each agency.
