Volunteer Fairfax offers a host of training opportunities to those seeking more information on how to better manage volunteers and run a volunteer program, especially for employees of nonprofit organizations and goverment agencies. The Center's most popular session, Volunteer Management Boot Camp, is offered on a regular basis at locations throughout the Washington, D.C., Metro region. For more information on this interactive session, as well as to register for our next class, please visit Boot Camp.
Volunteer Fairfax is now offering on-site training sessions for groups of 10 or more for a group rate. For more information please see Consulting. The Volunteer Management Boot Camp session is available through this program and can be offered on a date and in a location that fits the schedule of the purchasing group. In addition, Volunteer Fairfax staff members are able to present training sessions covering a wide range of topics.
Those seeking training in fundraising or development may be interested in the Fundraising Development Speaker Series. Offered through a partnership with Booz Allen Hamilton, this series of workshops is specifically designed for Executive Directors, Development Directors and Board Members.
