On Saturday, September 26th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. buses will be parked at 21 locations throughout Fairfax County to collect food donations. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for food in our area, so Stuff the Bus is working to respond to the demand.
Volunteer Fairfax will collect food donations at the Burkholder Building parking lot (10700 Page Avenue, Fairfax) and will benefit Food for Others serving individuals in need in Fairfax County and Fairfax City. A limited amount of volunteers are needed to support this drop off location, to sign up click here.
Additional buses will be located in less-frequented lots throughout the county, including many Board of Supervisors’ offices and the Fairfax County Government Center, to allow donors to comply with social distancing recommendations. Click to find a location in your community.
For those who are unable to donate in person but want to contribute, donations can be made directly to the agencies via links below on the Virtual Stuff the Bus food drive.
