Amy Charlesworth
Operations and Events Coordinator

Amy is responsible for handling administrative services for Volunteer Fairfax, coordinating with agency partners and volunteers, and assisting with signature events and corporate days of service. Amy began her career as a Service Representative and then Branch Manager at Manpower in Dayton, Ohio. There she performed various human resource functions to develop and place employees in positions representing the manufacturing and office services sectors. As an Air Force spouse, Amy has six years of 501(c)(3) experience serving on spouses’ club boards as: Parliamentarian, Thrift Shop, Historian, Programs, and Scholarships. She also spent four years working as a classroom volunteer in Fairfax County Public Schools, seven years as a Girl Scout leader and money manager, and six years as advancement chair for her children’s Boy Scout troop. Amy holds a BS in Business Administration- Management with a minor in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In her free time Amy enjoys sewing and spending time with her family.
