will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 20th

Nominate your favorite Volunteer!

We recognize that you had to pivot in 2020 to engage with your volunteers. Volunteers had to learn new skills and innovate ways to continue supporting the organizations, people, and missions they care about.

Volunteer Fairfax recognizes that while not all volunteers could serve in-person the number of hours they may have dedicated in the past, many still showed up, served, and supported our community in very difficult times. To honor traditional and innovative volunteers, VF has added several new mission-based competitive award categories in which nominees will be reviewed by a juried panel, who will select a winner from each of the categories.

Also new for this year is the #StrongerTogether category that recognizes all volunteers who have risen to the unique challenges presented by the COVID 19 pandemic and have demonstrated a unique and exemplary response to the crisis through advocacy or volunteer service. This category is non-competitive and all those nominated will be acknowledged in the virtual celebration.
