Established in 1993, the Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards serve as a community-wide celebration of volunteerism. The Awards honor individuals, groups and organizations that have given outstanding volunteer service through a broad range of activities and programs.
Over the last 25 years, Volunteer Fairfax has recognized more than
3, 000 individuals for their commitment to the community. Our community is a better place because of volunteers. Honor your best supporters at Volunteer Fairfax's annual county-wide volunteer recognition event, attended by more than 500 community members. Individuals and groups can be nominated in one of 15 competitive categories and four non-competitive categories. All nominees receive a complimentary invitation to the event.
Community members are invited to nominate dedicated volunteer(s), recognizing them for their service and acknowledging the impact volunteers have on our community. Nominees will be honored at the annual awards breakfast on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Waterford at Springfield. Save the date and nominate!
Nominations are accepted through Friday, February 3 at 5 p.m.
