Volunteer Service Awards: Nominations Closed
Established in 1993, the Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards serve as a community-wide celebration of volunteerism. The Awards honor individuals, groups and organizations that have given outstanding volunteer service through a broad range of activities and programs.
Over the last 25 years, Volunteer Fairfax has recognized more than
3,000 individuals for their commitment to the community. Our community is a better place because of volunteers. Honor your best supporters at Volunteer Fairfax's annual county-wide volunteer recognition event, attended by more than 500 community members. Individuals and groups are nominated in one of 15 competitive categories and four non-competitive categories. All nominees receive a complimentary invitation to the event.
Nominations are now CLOSED. Thank you to those who nominated the dedicated volunteers in on our community. Nominees will be honored at the annual awards breakfast on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Waterford at Springfield. Early bird tickets will go on sale on March 8, 2017.
