Every time someone engages in service, they not only enrich their own lives but also help Volunteer Fairfax achieve its mission of meeting community needs. Beneficiaries of volunteers may include a teen who has a strong mentor, those hungry and homeless who are fed and sheltered, and animals who are found forever homes.

We are proud to be part of the impact on the community. We are also grateful for our supporters’ generous investment to help us amplify community impact by leading, connecting, and mobilizing through volunteerism.

FY 2025 Impact by the Numbers

In FY25, more than 10,000 volunteers contributed nearly 32,000 hours of service, generating over $1 million in community value. We partnered with 459 nonprofits and public agencies to make this impact possible.

These achievements build upon the foundation of our strategic plan, which guides us in advancing our mission and expanding our capacity. Its pillars continue to steer our work:

  • Collaboration: Strengthening connections across sectors by uniting municipalities, companies, and nonprofits.
