For 34 years, Volunteer Fairfax has celebrated the individuals and organizations who make a real difference through service. As communities face growing challenges, volunteerism continues to be a powerful force for positive change.

Join us as we celebrate those who embody the spirit of service and help build a more connected Northern Virginia community.

  • Gerald E. “Gerry” Connolly Lifetime Achievement Honoree

2026 Lifetime Achievement Award

The Gerald E. "Gerry" Connolly Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals whose long-term service has made a lasting impact on Fairfax County. This year, we recognize Craig Dubishar for his decades of leadership, volunteerism, and dedication to strengthening and inspiring the community.

Q. When will the awards be presented?

A. The Volunteer Service Awards will be presented in person on May 7, 2026 at the James Lee Community Center and space will be limited.

Q. What is the dress code for the event?

A. The dress code is business professional.
