There are so many different ways to express generosity on GivingTuesday and every day! It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.
Volunteer Fairfax entered its 50th year with the goal and momentum to engage more people and organizations and to amplify their impact within our community, more effectively than ever before. During our last fiscal year, we saw a significant resurgence of interest in in-person volunteer activities; we had over 20k hours of volunteer time, provided over $700k in service value, and engaged with 650 nonprofits and agency partners. Our programs and signature events excelled and grew tremendously. And all of that is thanks to people like you that believe in our mission and the work we do. Our goal is to continue making impact in our community and seeing people thrive.
