Lisa Joyslin
Equity and Inclusion Program Manager
Lisa Joyslin joined MAVA in 2017 and is the Equity and Inclusion Manager. Her work is focused on learning how to address systemic inequities in volunteer engagement systems to better engage communities of color as volunteers at nonprofit and government organizations. Lisa has worked in the field of volunteer engagement for nearly 15 years. She spent four years as the Volunteer Services Officer for the American Red Cross Minnesota Region and has held positions with Community Thread, Hands On Twin Cities, and Chicago Cares. Before joining the MAVA staff, Lisa was a volunteer trainer for MAVA’s Volunteer Impact Leadership Series and Cutting Edge Strategies trainings. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
