Our community will lend our support, strength, and talents by joining thousands of others around the country in participating in service projects on this day.

We will do good as we remember those lost that day and honor the heroes who continue to serve the country and community post-9/11.

In Fairfax County, VolunteerFest will bring together hundreds of volunteers countywide to complete projects for local nonprofits and local government agencies on Saturday, September 11, 2021. This year’s event will feature both in-person and virtual, at-home service opportunities to ensure that everyone who wants to participate can find a way to get involved.

Group Project Info

Take a look at pictures from last year’s VolunteerFest where more than 800 volunteers participated in a variety of projects within the community and at home. These volunteer projects included making dog treats for shelters, sanitation kits for the homeless, labeling storm drain systems, cleaning and beautifying parks, and much more!
