The Affiliate Assembly is a representative body of the Points of Light Global Network, representing the network in both composition and collective voice. As we consider the future of civic engagement, and our collective role in it, it is important to engage the affiliate voice into strategy and action. We want to more deeply connect the sector, and we see the Affiliate Assembly as an opportunity to work more closely together.
The assembly will identify, develop, and/or refine the strategy, programs, initiatives, and policies of the Points of Light Global Network in areas including, but not limited to: our core messaging, the case for support, funding opportunities, affiliate standards, affiliate membership, core programming, and capacity building for affiliates. Our goal is that through the assembly we will collaborate to improve how strategies translate into action across the entire organization and network.
