Karen leads Volunteer Fairfax’s corporate volunteer engagement efforts, building meaningful partnerships and designing customized service experiences that align business goals with community needs. She oversees BusinessLink initiatives and works closely with companies to create impactful volunteer projects that strengthen nonprofit capacity and deepen community connection. She brings more than 10 years of experience working with volunteers across a variety of settings, with a focus on relationship-driven engagement and sustainable community impact.

Karen earned her degree in business management with a concentration in nonprofit management from North Park University in Chicago and holds her Certified Nonprofit Professional credential through the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active outdoors, soaking up every ray of sunshine, and enjoying a good book.
