Kathryn (known by most as Kat) is from Virginia Bwach and came to work at Volunteer Fairfax through an internship. It has been a long but fun journey from Communications Intern, to Membership Coordinator, to her current role.

Kat studied Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University. In addition to her BA, she has earned a minor in Non-Profit Studies, leading her to our organization. Kat’s responsibilities include managing Social Media, assisting the Corporate Services and Engagement Teams through video and image production. She is now also assisting the RSVP Northern Virginia Program with their communications and outreach.

When not staring endlessly into website backends and InDesign files, Kat can be found traveling, thrifting, making art, and getting tattoos.
