Saherah Khan
Director of Corporate Relations & Development

As the Director of Corporate Relations & Development at Volunteer Fairfax, Saherah works alongside the CEO and senior management to lead the organization’s efforts to cultivate and sustain relationships with corporate partners while spearheading development and funding initiatives.

Saherah is a Virginia native and graduated from Virginia Tech with a dual degree in Business Management and Public/Urban Affairs. She has a passion for social change and has dedicated her career to making a positive impact. With a rich background working and volunteering at nonprofits, Saherah has spent the past decade addressing issues such as homelessness, workforce shortages, and educational injustice. In her previous roles, she has been responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships, donor engagement, volunteer coordination, and fundraising. Additionally, Saherah has experience implementing innovative initiatives that narrowed employment gaps and connected homeless youth with long-term career opportunities for financial stability. Her most cherished professional experience involved contributing to the design of experiential learning programs for an international social enterprise. Collaborating globally with universities and students, Saherah emphasized the importance of social impact and educated young leaders on responsible business and nonprofit practices in various developing communities in countries including South Africa, Peru, and Spain.

Outside of work, Saherah is an NBA enthusiast, globetrotter, and avid reader of non-fiction and memoirs.
